DAYYANI's new single "Nobody Kills Me Like You Do" proves that she is more than just another pop singer, songwriter, and producer. Armed with club elements, breakbeats, and a pop-chorus in the likes of Robyn in 2010, she marks herself as one of the strongest new pop acts out of Scandinavia.

About the new song, 25-year-old Isabella Dayyani says:

"Nobody Kills Me Like You Do is about the first time my partner and I yelled at each other. A rather unsettling moment in a relationship that had been in a total 'honeymoon phase' until then. I can be quite conflict-avoidant and usually think of such situations as something scary or dangerous, but finding each other again after the dust had settled, confirmed to me that it's also what brings us closer together."

"I have dreamt of writing an album for a long time but didn't really feel ready to commit to it until last year. The most important thing was to create a concept I could immerse myself in, enough to create 40 songs without getting stuck or repeating myself. Something I quickly realized had to be based directly on my life as it unravels, rather than some predetermined agenda."

"In recent years, I have explored a thousand different sounds, ranging from samba to techno, and have created weird combinations and concepts. But at some point in the process, i came to the realization that the most challenging thing for me was actually to write the most shameless pop music I could imagine. Songs that can move something in anyone really. That was much more out of my comfort zone, and therefore what I set out to do."

"Nobody Kills Me Like You Do" will be released on Yachtvej / Sony Music Denmark on February 16, 2024.

In 2022 and 2023, DAYYANI played many live shows including Roskilde Festival and Reeperbahn festival, released the EP “...Still Learning” with the singles ‘My Shit’ and ‘Casual’ being in heavy rotation on national danish radio DR P3, and the follow up single ‘Blink Twice’ attained P3’s Ugens Uundgåelige (the most played song on Danish National Radio for a week). She also helped out her label mates in Ganger, writing their highly anticipated album ‘Pisk’, featuring as lead vocalist on their lead single ‘Hugo’.

She is currently working on her debut album, set to release in 2024.
