Since their debut EP ‘Embrace the Future’ (2015) Copenhagen-duo GENTS, fronted by crooner Niels Fejrskov Juhl, has gained fans all over the world. Flanked by soft-synth aficionado Theis Vesterløkke, the two self-proclaimed cyber crooners have taken the journey from initial support slots to shows on SPOT Festival, Roskilde Festival and Store VEGA. Internationally, they have sold out shows in Paris and Berlin and been on countless tours all across Europe and Russia, including festivals such as Iceland Airwaves, By:Larm and Reeperbahn.
They released their third album, ‘souvenir’, on February 25 2022
One of Denmarks most critically acclaimed new groups: awarded the P3 Gold Talent prize in 2020 and nominated for a combined 10 Steppeulven awards for their two albums Mørk (20219) and Tro (2020). Soundvenue named their second album “Tro'“ Danish Album of The Year in 2020 and both albums were high on most year-end lists in Denmark. They released their critically acclaimed third album, ‘Pisk’, in May 2023.
Yachtvej?
Yachtvej is a Copenhagen-based music company. We release music, manage artists and handle publishing. We love developing talent.
It’s run by Thomas Bach Skaarup (direction, music and artist management), Andreas Campbell (administration, operations and handling) and Johannes Bruun (music and artist management).
Originally started by members of the Danish band Ganger.
We’re currently focused on developing younger artists, but we’re always keen to listen to new music, even from legacy artists or bands that need a solid kick in the ass.
We’re still a small team, and we try to reply to all demos, but giving solid feedback is very time consuming. So in busy times, we might be a bit slow to reply. However, we listen to everything sent our way, and you can be sure we’ll contact your, if we’re interested.
